When I saw this online I knew I had to buy it. I've often wondered why I have to balance with a heavy towel on my head — it hurts my arthritic neck and falls off when I bend forward — just to keep my wet hair from dripping until I can do something about it. It's an annoying, painful balancing act. The Aquis Hair Turban looked like the solution I've been looking for my entire adult life. This is a 27" long finished microfiber turban that fits all but the longest hair. My hair is thick and shoulder length and there is twice as much room in the turban for it as in the turban. dry or lay down. The turban is lightweight and securely fixed on head. It doesn't come off when I jump with boys. It never bothers anything. And microfiber creates less friction on hair than a looped cotton towel, resulting in less frizz, which is why microfiber is considered suitable for curly girls. I have fine textured hair and when I pull a large cotton towel from my head I would sometimes snag and break my hair.This turban is gentle on my hair,comfortable and very practical.I was surprised to read that some reviewers expected, that this turban shortens the drying time.Then I looked at the Aquis website and saw that they advertise their microfiber products as "quick dry." It's a scam . Microfiber does not absorb as much water as cotton. Absorbs excess water but leaves hair damp. This is intentional. Your hair will not dry in the form of a turban. Styling products help lock in moisture. You can style your hair however you like, or curl it to emphasize curls or waves; it stays moist until you remove the turban. This is the opposite of quick drying. For me, the Aquis Hair Turban is an ingenious solution to an annoying problem. I love it. Neck doesn't hurt anymore. No more rushing to do anything with my hair because I can't do anything with a big, heavy towel balancing unsteadily on my head. It's attractive, machine washable, and perfect. A hair turban will likely work for hair that reaches mid-back, but no more. There is a long version (44 inches), although I'm not sure how practical it is to throw that much hair over your head even if you can style it in a turban. There is also a waffle version, but it seems to me that there will be more friction.
