Fits perfectly on my Dyson JD3-US (Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal + Allergy). The folded size is 1-2 inch shorter than the standard tube. Based on this, the extended length may be slightly shorter than the OEM. The replacement tube arrived with a slight kink in transit but after some rework it is now in good condition. The materials and manufacturing methods appear to be of the same quality as the OEM part. As for another review of this product, the one I received has a different type of red button, but the button moves two latches just like the original. . The replacement I received had no o-ring at all. I removed the foam o-ring from the OEM hose and replaced it with a spare, but I'm not sure if the ring makes much of a difference. Find the right clutch. You could probably replace one end of the extension hose with a modified random Dyson stock mount in place of the existing hose end.
