Pass dollar best in brake system

I bought a new Cardone master cylinder and it worked fine for 8 months then it started leaking from the back to the brake booster, Revain gives info to call Cardone so I called but the Cardone people said no, Revain makes a guarantee so I think I should eat it. Looks like Revane and Cardone are passing it on to each other. Why not just say there is no guarantee on this product?
