I teach NRA firearms and ammo reloading courses and have had to handle lead bullets or ammo many times. Due to the risk of lead poisoning, I make it available to all my students and teachers during and after class to reduce the chances of lead poisoning. I prefer to use this soap to remove lead because of its abrasiveness. The abrasive isn't particularly sharp and seems to remove lead and grease residue from hands well. Be sure to use it with cold water, as hot water opens the pores and increases the chance of further lead contamination. Line: If you're working with .22 ammo, reloading lead bullets, or using open lead ammo, this is a good option for staying safe.
