Review on Leisure Cords Heavy Duty 7 Way Plug Trailer Cord - 4 Feet, Weatherproof (4-Foot) by Seth Bushey

I used this product to replace a 4 pin boat trailer plug with a 7 pin plug so I don't need an adapter for my cars. and NO standard tag There are no instructions in the box! The schematic is on this ad, so do yourself a favor and print it out or take a screenshot to make the installation easier, as I've mixed yellow with yellow (left turn/brake), brown with brown (running lights), green connected to green (right turn/brake) and white to white (ground). When I plugged the new connector into my car, a light came on. I quickly realized that something was wrong. I grabbed a multimeter and used the ohms function to figure out how the pins were connected and what color they used to connect their connector. I had three of the four wires connected to the wrong colors. Using my ohmmeter I was finally able to determine where the correct wires went. There were no instructions on the packaging. The schematic is in the ad and I didn't see it until all this happened. I've attached a picture of how I connected my wiring. Now it works great.
