In summer I like to go to the lake. It reaches a depth of around 35 feet but usually we average around 15 to 20 feet. Even though my iPhone is waterproof, I just don't want to risk it as it shouldn't be more than a few feet under water. To test this case, I left it in a full bath for a day (8 hours) and my phone was bone dry when I opened the case. I also took it to the lake and accidentally dropped it about 8 feet. There wasn't a drop of water on it and it held up perfectly at such a depth. It fits easily on my XS Max (no case) and it's just nice not having to worry about it at all. The case has a one-way valve that you must deflate to create a vacuum inside the case and seal the case airtight. To deflate, you need to push the center of the valve to the side, much like a wine bottle style vacuum cap. It took me a while to figure this out as it's not mentioned anywhere in the instructions. The app works flawlessly and allows you to take photos and videos without any connection like Bluetooth. A few things to remember. The app is limited to only taking photos or videos. So you wanted to try some other features of your phone. You can not. Also, make sure your phone doesn't go to sleep. If you do, you won't be able to get him out of this mode until you show up.
