Light and compact

So far we have used it in our VW Westfalia during a week-long trip. We used it to charge a 100A hour deep cycle battery while our fridge was plugged into it. It wasn't a flimsy test, we had temps in the 90's and kept opening the fridge and adding hot water bottles so the fridge worked a lot. In addition, we accidentally blocked one of the vents, causing it to get hot, working too hard and consuming a lot of battery power. That being said, here's what I like and what I don't like at the moment. I needed something unobtrusive and easy to store as we don't have a lot of space in our van, this is perfect. It's about the size of a large briefcase but thinner when folded and easily fits in my closet or under my seat. It's lightweight, which is a must for my husband. After getting a 45 degree angle for maximum sun exposure, we hung it on the front or back of the van. Controller, that could be a disadvantage. This is a simple controller that only displays volts not watts and the battery level. It's attached to the back of the case in a zipped pocket, so you can't see what's coming out of your setup once it's set up. It would be nice if a Bluetooth model was included so you can track everything from your phone. So I'll probably upgrade the controller at some point. Updated 10/29/19. My brother stayed here and we hooked this up to his controller and the output was 65 watts in full sun. I'm not a solar expert but I was hoping for more than 100 watts, maybe I'm missing something but I was a bit disappointed. UPDATE 12/13/19, The company is very active. They have emailed me thanking me for my purchase and if they can help me in any way just let them know. Well, I took this opportunity to mention that I wasn't happy with the result. They sent me an answer very quickly and asked me to test the panel on cables with the controller disconnected. I was busy at work and then we went on vacation, then it started raining, they sent at least 2 or 3 more emails asking what I had learned about the panels. I don't know about you, but in my experience most companies don't care if they hear from you again. Customer service 5 stars! We finally tested them and the panels put out more than 119 watts! Perfect for a 120W system! Because of the controller I still give 4 stars and will probably upgrade to a Victron MPPT controller to be able to use as many watts as possible.
