I bought this food because it is all natural for my 17 (84) year old cat with no chemicals. She already had problems with constipation. She had a pretty decent meal (Natures Variety) and the problems were getting worse, so I figured maybe it was the chemicals. So after HOURS.CHASSSSS of reading and searching I found this food. I like 99% of the ingredients. She liked the food but became severely constipated. The stool was completely dry, her passage was very painful. I almost had to take her to the vet because she hadn't had a bowel movement for almost a full week, which is dangerous at her age. I put that food off her and went back to the old one and also gave her Colon Rescue. Please buy Colon Rescue on Amazon if your furry child is in trouble, it's all natural and will 'make things move'! The ONE INGREDIENT I think screwed up is the chicken bone. No other cat food has that, at least I haven't experienced it. I thought it might be clams, but I read something and those clams seem like a safe ingredient. So, I guess chicken bone is too difficult to convey. There are no real chunks and I've put food in a blender to make soup (toothless) but it still didn't help. So can go boneless right?
