Amber Yellow is stronger than darker colors. I recommend getting a yellow one first and then getting another one after about 6 months or when teeth erupt. Always works if left enabled. Do not take it off to shower or bathe. My children almost never drooled and almost never cried from the pain of teething. They work, just don't take them off. Use mom and dad's common sense and common sense and you won't have to worry about choking on them. You'll love it if you give it a chance, and more importantly, your kid will be awesome. They also strengthen the immune system. :) I took it off once and my kid got sick right away. I put it back on and it really helped them get over the disease. We talked about a runny nose, drooling, coughing and possibly a sore throat.
