I honestly didn't quite understand how it was used. I use brushes for painting and crafting, but I've never used anything quite like it for cleaning. When I showed it to my soulmate, she understood immediately. According to the photo I took it to check. After a while she called me into her dressing room. I asked about the foam sponge inside, she said if you have cream or liquid on your brush you can rub it on the sponge to clean it. This is very useful when you are making shades of the same color and just need to remove the excess and blend the shades. Well, who would have thought that such a seemingly simple silicone case with raised characters and bristles could do so much. She thought it was very pretty, but I should have gone with the pink or peach color, not the dark cement gray. ha ha. I thought I could use this to clean my brushes; So I received it in a color I'm comfortable with. Despite my outrageous choice of colors, she kept it for her own use. Therefore, the product meets the declared properties and corresponds to the descriptions and illustrations in the product details. I am surprised by the tremendous usefulness of the product.
