Review on V MODA XFBT2 MBLACK Crossfade Wireless Headphones by Seo Jun ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality product, I rate this purchase excellent.

I took the headphones precisely because of the ability to connect both by wire and without. Perfect for home and non-lossless music. If you need bass-bass to directly "rock" like in a basin - maybe you should look in the direction of the synchs, but for electronic music - it's perfect. For movement outside the house I would take earplugs, these headphones are not easy. PS: nevertheless, the difference with the wireless mode is felt, although not always - in some cases in the wireless mode there is a feeling that you are listening to a track with a bit rate of ~ 200 kb / s, although in the wired mode everything is ok. There is a Codex version of the same ears, it seems like apt-x / aac should definitely be supported there

Pros
  • Sound I use headphones exclusively at home and connect to a Mac - in this case everything is great, the sound is 9 out of 10 points - the sound is balanced, the bass is more natural and not as pronounced as "shaking" as on sinhas (although I would not refuse such ones), in general presses normally and it is ideal for electronic music - a very good stage and a "meaty" sound. Wireless mode I also doubted whether to take bluetooth or radio, like in radio headphones from some manufacturers a custom protocol that provides a wider bandwidth, but if you do not listen to lossless, there is absolutely no difference. Before that, there were radio headphones from a well-known brand and they had a drawback - a slight hiss in the headphones when the music was turned off, there is no such thing at all, perfect silence (practically, when connected via bluetooth, there is a very light background, but it is imperceptible, probably this is noise reduction) . The control buttons are rather inconvenient. Wired Mode Although I heard many times that there is a huge difference in sound between apt-x / aac and sbc, but again - in fact, listening to music in normal bitrate through iTunes, I didn’t notice the difference between wired and without wired, probably the difference will be if you listen to lossless. Also, in wired mode, the headphones do not seem to waste a charge. Assembly Well, it's just ecstasy - weighty headphones, nothing creaks, the packaging is just trash - both the box and the case. The wire is also cool, fabric and pleasant. Ear pads The earbuds are fairly snug and the ear cushions are compact and will probably not completely cover the ears of those with very large ears; but with normal ears. The ear cushions are "type" leather (or actually leather) and the ears sweat a little after a long listening session, I would change to fabric ones.
Cons
  • Among the shortcomings - I couldn’t connect via aac / apt-x to the poppy, although I tried the well-known option via the console and using apple bluetooth explorer. However, this actually does not matter much, because. even in SBC, there is no difference with wired mode (at least when listening to music in tuna bitrate).
