The materials started falling apart as soon as we took it out of the box. Thin strips of bamboo had come loose from the edges of the shelves. When we installed the screws, the wood the screws were inserted into split into multiple shelves. There are many spots with chips on the surface that turn into chips in your hands. The quality of the materials is quite low. Yes, he is now in the closet holding shoes. But we have no idea how long it will hold together. Based on how many splits have already taken place, we're not very optimistic. We would not recommend this product to other buyers. There are many other items made of bamboo in our house. So we thought it might be a good addition. But NONE of our bamboo items have the issues we had with this shoe rack. The difference in material quality and construction is striking and extremely disappointing. We encourage buyers of Revain to look at other suppliers and products.
