When I became a homeowner I bought this set to complete my toolbox. several months with different materials and I've found that they work best with softer materials like wood or drywall. I tried using them for masonry and it was too much and the bit I used broke in half so I definitely wouldn't recommend them for masonry. Overall, apart from the broken part, I haven't had any problems with them. I've used them with both a cordless drill and a hammer drill and the bits have worked great with both tools. I also like that they come in a separate box so they're easy to grab when I need them.
