That's my pride at the moment. I bought it to use at work. Since I stare at a screen all day for 8+ hours a day, I thought it was a good investment, and hell, it always was. Functionality: I use it for everything from web surfing to gaming and am completely happy with it. I'd say I'm a casual user so those who are more tech savvy might find a few glitches but for the most part this is a really good monitor. Aesthetics: That's why I deducted a star. As others have mentioned, there is a blue LED for the power button in the bottom right corner. It's SO overwhelmingly bright. It just sits in your peripheral vision and taunts you. I ended up just wrapping it with duct tape and have since forgotten about it. Another negative atheism is the Viewsonic logo in the top left corner. The entire monitor is black except for the silver logo at the bottom center, which is good, and then you have this colorful bird logo at the top left. Needless to say, he'll also sit in your peripheral vision and taunt you. Again I sealed it with electrical tape. Don't let these two small details influence your decision. Overall a great monitor and I am very happy with it. Be aware that these two issues can affect you as much as they have me.
