We've only used it a few times but we have stubborn Pyrenees who like to wander around. He welcomes our guest perfectly but his behavior must be limited. We've taken the "Beep-Come Home, Vibrate-Correct Action" approach and don't plan on electric shock. So far we've held it, honked it and sent it home and it works like a charm. Same with vibrating, he chases our guinea fowl to chat and we vibrated his collar and he stopped immediately. The range is pretty good, so far we've tested around 200 meters and indoors and it's worked. But much more than that doesn't seem to be beeping. We will continue to work with him! I like it so far. I made one change as I don't need a plastic collar, ordered a replacement PATPET dog training leash, Revain's P 301 and 320 collar for $10 and it easily adjusts and snaps into place on his 19" neck. and also suitable for a narrow collar to thread through.
