Real Bidirectional USB-C DP Cable That Works! FYI: The DP end only works with original DP enabled devices such as DP/mDP ports on PCs, laptops, monitors with DP output, etc. It is not supported by DP from GPU/video card or dock stations (without internal converter ) enabled. Tested:✔️1) Mac with TB1/2 to miniDP/DP adapter on this cable connected to USB-C monitor (DP Alt mode); Mac to Dell MST Monitor to this cable connecting to a USB-C enabled monitor (DP Alternate Mode)✔️2) Mobo DP PC using this cable to a USB-C enabled monitor (DP Alternate Mode)✔️3) TB3 -Laptop/Samsung tablet to DP monitor❌4) TB3 laptop to TB3 docking station to this cable to USB-C enabled monitor❌5) DP PC to this cable to USB-C enabled monitor The construction of the cable seems solid and the thickness is ok since it's USB-C oriented wiring. The housing for the DP end is better than some, but it doesn't look like it will survive long periods of plugging and unplugging (the connector can wiggle and have a slight angle to it), so I wouldn't even bother move a lot placed. .
