Spend more for better quality

I originally had a Microplane and am very happy with it. I wanted to try one without the comfy grip and it seemed like a great option for my needs. It wasn't nearly as good as the microplan. I went back and bought a different, better quality one. Not everything is better because it costs more, but in this case it is. Not very sharp and inconvenient to use.
