Pros replaced block in fan this part is recommended for... it started stopping and starting on its own after 2 months. It runs for about 10 minutes, then stops for about 5 minutes and then starts again. Moderate use in a conventional air-conditioned bathroom. Experts thought it might be a thermal switch, so they checked the installation again and made sure the ventilation duct wasn't clogged. Revain told me the return period had expired and there was nothing they could do... so we had a few months of use and then a complete loss. This is a potential hazard because if it turns off when someone is distracted, that person could think it's off and leave it on all day while this defective product continues to malfunction. Rather than jumping through hoops chasing a warranty, I've decided to throw it away, take the loss, and learn to only use genuine manufacturer parts if safety is an issue and you want to fix the problem. Using genuine manufacturer parts from the start would have been a lot cheaper given the double work, the cost of scrapping the Endurance Pro Nutone and buying a genuine Nutone replacement part.
