I came here from KZ AC10. I like them, but they lack depth. Now HIDIZS MS4. They are better. The first song I listened to was Bassgasm because the AS10 had problems with the bass. MS4 was. more than enough. I know they don't hit the lowest frequencies, but you can "feel" it. I'm using an EarStudio ES100 with a balanced 2.5mm cable and I noticed a few things right away. AS10 which I had to switch back to a flat setting in order for the MS4 to have a similar sound, albeit with lower frequencies. For lack of a better word, the main driver is a little blurry. Although I'm not sure if this is a real problem. Everything was crisp and clear on the AS10, allowing you to hear every detail. I hear all the details on the MS4, but those details don't cut my eardrums that much. I had no ear fatigue while wearing the MS4. Sometimes I put them in at 2pm and take them out at 2am just because the ES100 battery needs to be charged. I also like that I can't push them in too far as they are snug on the ear. They block noise well. People who speak to me in the office are almost completely lost when the volume is above the ES100's minimum volume. I hear wood banging or popping when the volume is a little higher, but above a third of the volume I only hear music. I have to test this at the airport and report back. I can say I'm pretty impressed with IEM so far. are no problem. At the lowest volume, I could hear music, but I could also hear almost everything that was being said around me on the plane. With the volume turned up about a third, I could hear the music clearly over the hum of the engine and the noisy people. The only risk is not being able to hear the prompts telling me to put down my tablet and ending up with the flight attendant waving her hands in my direction while I was watching the movie. Flight that nobody interrupted me. On the second leg of the journey there was a man in my line who spoke continuously to those around him, but not a word to me (which I heard). It was wonderful. I would recommend the MS4 to anyone asking for a quality IEM. April 2020 quarantine update: still happy with purchase. I wear IEMs almost every day and can say they have helped me calm down as they give me time to myself in close combat. They are just as comfortable as when I first got them. The left silicone ear tip sometimes falls out when removing the IEM from the ear. I put it back on and it stays in place for days afterwards. I have a few extra pairs that came with the original packaging and may be replacing them.
