The siphon works well and quickly.
This is a simple siphon with a large bulb that effectively creates a very fast siphon. I use it to drain antifreeze from my cars, but I also take it with me on motorcycle trips in case I ever run out of fuel and need help with some fuel from someone else. I think a large diameter hose CAN work with thicker oils, but I suspect this siphon - like all siphons - is best used for liquid liquids such as antifreeze, water, gasoline, etc. Good (simple) siphon.
