At first I was pleased with how easy they are to apply and how good they look (mine has a candy themed exterior for Christmas). I hung them on a glass storm door and picture window. MAYBE they aren't designed for glass but I think a tiled floor would be the same. They were very difficult to remove. The stupid little plastic tool that came with them did NOTHING. The razor blade in the holder eventually worked, but it was very hard work and REALLY left a mark, which I removed with Goo-gone. I can't imagine putting them on a painted wall - I can NEVER believe they'll come loose without taking the paint and maybe some drywall! These are STICKERS and they STICK WELL!
