These gloves did not convince me, especially for $ 180 (size M). God forbid you need size XL. Ripstop nylon is also a rip because it's soft and flimsy and doesn't last long in my opinion. These gloves are very comfortable and warm enough for skiing and snow in moderate winter temperatures, but not enough for a week of cold climbing and ice climbing. Don't be fooled by product images. One image shows a man wearing green boots and GLOVES instead of mittens. Although I have a pair of Black Diamond Super Light gloves, I'm considering getting a cheap pair of the following gloves, which look just as good, if not better, than these Black Diamonds.
