Review on American Lighting 043L 16 WH 16 Inch Dimmable by Jeannie Story

My original under-cabinet light was a standard fluorescent bulb. While probably decent power consumption and normal color, lamps and/or other parts continued to fail. Instead of going through the same parts replacement cycle and waiting for something else to break, I figured it was time for an upgrade. Some electricians have mentioned xenon lamps. While the colors look pretty good on them, they get hot, use a lot of power, and will likely burn out after a while. I decided that I wanted to switch to modern lighting and therefore to LEDs. When it came to LED cabinet lighting, I didn't notice anything special at first, but I was lucky to come across the Priori Plus LED cabinet lighting. I bought one to try (you can buy a plug for it and plug it straight into the wall to try). Once I got it working I fell in love and ordered a full set for my kitchen. light is great! The colors are white, similar to halogens and much nicer than fluorescent lights. The bulbs are bright and even dimmable! LED lighting is somewhat directional but suitable for illuminating your counters. They generate minimal heat and use far less energy than xenon or halogen lamps. They should last for decades without maintenance. This really is the future of under cabinet lighting!
