Review on 🔧 Milwaukee 2646-20 M18 2-Speed Grease Gun: Powerful Bare Tool for Efficient Lubrication by Kevin Stephan

So far my rating for this gun is 4.5. Unfortunately I can only show 4 or 5, so 4. I haven't had to use this weapon yet, but I expect it will work fine with my hobby farm's small devices. If I have reason to change my mind I will update this review. With that in mind, I want to focus on the #1 complaint about this gun. how hard is it to fill Others have already suggested replacing the standard barrel with a barrel from another weapon. This may work well as I have no reason to doubt other words. However, I think there is a simpler and cheaper solution. Like many others, I couldn't get the gun to load the first time, but I was aware of this issue from reading reviews and didn't panic. While I couldn't find a video or write specifically about how to do what I'm about to explain, I used contextual clues from several videos to figure out what to try. Here's what I found. For some reason, perhaps because the piston is stuck or there is a blockage in the lube path that the spring cannot clear, the piston will not move down. No amount of pulling of the trigger will get the gun to fire unless the butt is inserted into the barrel. No pressure on the vent valve works. So I pulled the shaft out again without locking it. That was the first hint, the rod shouldn't stay fully retracted by itself. So I twisted the stem until it snapped into place in the plunger. There is no stop, the stem can be rotated 3000 degrees. But if you stop the rotation in short intervals, the rod, as it were, blocks the piston. While holding the air release valve, I pushed the rod onto the piston and with a little effort (not a ton) I heard a pop, the piston pushed down the tube and grease spilled out of the air release hole. I twisted the stock until it disengaged from the butt, pushed it all the way in, pulled the trigger and voila, the gun started feeding lube. Please. I believe the reason a new barrel solves the problem is that for some reason the piston is stuck and the spring is not strong enough to free it. Other barrels probably don't have sticking problems. There may be small defects in the barrels leading to the gun. But this problem can be solved once it gets hacked. Even if not, now you know how to deal with it.
