Like many moms, I started using OxiClean and Shout to remove stains from my newborn's clothes, but their strong odor really bothered me and spread to other clothes in the washing machine. One day I realized that even though these foods smell pretty toxic even to me, I probably shouldn't be exposing my child to these chemicals through clothing. I went down the rabbit hole of the EWG rankings and came out stunned. The Dapple Stain Remover got an A rating, but I was very skeptical that it would work as well as OxiClean or Shout. To my delight, I was wrong. Not only is it just as effective, it's even more effective than OxiClean and Shout, with no unpleasant odors or toxic residue. Sometimes I have to spray and soak an item more than once, but that was absolutely the case with OxiClean and Shout as well. Just leave it in the sink overnight and it WORKS! diaper stains? PASSED. baby urine? BRIGHT. Husband fed your baby blueberries and she soiled the sleeve of her white jumpsuit? NO PROBLEM! I'm not impressed.
