This little guy was worth every penny. I don't watch videos or condone watching videos while driving, so please don't buy it because of that. BUT there are certain controls, like when my wife gets in the car in front of me and her phone connects to bluetooth and I want to connect my phone instead, that setting is grayed out while driving and a bunch of other little things like this eventually become a pain. So this little plug does the trick. I have a pioneer and just connecting the ground wire like some radios do does not help. Remember that 2 wires are connected to other wires (e.g. create Y). Don't think that you need to cut and connect the head unit cables to it. The main unit wires will still be connected to the car wires and 2 of them will only be connected to them. YouTube helps a lot, just look there.
