I tied it to my 5.11 backpack and it's the same color (maybe a little lighter) and weight. Perfectly combined. I commute to work about 2.5 hours a day and needed a coffee cup holder. The tip holds well, nothing falls out. Mesh bottom for spills. Holds a standard Nalgene liter bottle but is quite heavy. One issue is that the molle straps are a little loose on the backpack so I had to secure it with zip ties to keep it from bouncing around. never mind
