I saw the same part number used to identify this lamp with and without the cage (the outer plastic housing that houses the lamp). This is basically the main reason for the huge price differences from site to site. I only bought the lamp (no cage) so this required a little extra work. If you go the same way, you have to open the old plastic cage, replace the old cage lamp and reuse the old cage. You save about 50% of the cost by doing it yourself instead of ordering the device that comes with the cage. This will require a small flat head screwdriver or dull knife (to open the plastic cage) and a small Phillips screwdriver to change the lamp in the cage body and 5 to 10 minutes of your time.
