Luckily my husband is always on hand. We installed them and my cats love having hammocks on the wall but I do not recommend this product. Here are the issues we had: 1. The pieces didn't fit properly for installation - my husband literally had to cut the wood pieces to fit together in order to install it. The bars are not strong and after my cat lay down in the hammock they started falling out. My husband had to take them off and manually reinforce the bars to support my cat's weight.3. I had to buy my own mounting hardware - drywall screws etc. We did all that - but in principle we could build it ourselves, which we will do next time.
