Only once so far but here's my thought: I decided and bought an electric pump because ease of use was important to me. You can inflate it in 5 minutes with a hand pump UNLESS YOU ARE TIRED and trust me you will. Once inflated it was easy to insert the clip on fins so they felt really secure. The blade looks broken as the adjustable handle length doesn't lock, which is annoying. The board and paddle handle are just like most boards I've tried for rent. He is great with two people! I love it and can't wait to start doing it again!
