I ordered these to keep track of both of my generators. It's simply impossible to track time consumption without writing it down. With these hour meters, I can now accurately track run times for oil changes and scheduled maintenance. The hour meters are very easy to install. Simply route the wire from where you want to mount the gauge to the spark plug wire. Wrap around the spark plug wire at least 5 times and secure with tape. Peel off the adhesive film from the hour meter and stick it in place. Did! Now just start the engine and see if the hourglass flashes on the display. If yes, then it works. They are worth every penny and I consider them an invaluable tool for my generators. They work with any small engine. This is great value and they get 5 stars.
