Review on πŸ”§ High-Quality Aluminum Weight Clamps for HiFi Turntable Vinyl Disc LP Record Player - 14oz Record Weight Stabilizer Turntable Clamp by Tiffany Morrison

Great addition - turntable and accessories

So, like you, I was skeptical. Is that a trick? Is this some stupid audiophile tech junk that makes no difference to the average person who wants clean, clear and balanced sound? Rubber. 20 dollars. Let me do it. So I won't waste your time with useless specs or tell you all about my audio setup. Nobody cares. All you care about is how YOUR setup sounds. Sound: noticeable improvement. Serious. Clearly. Not harsh or breathtaking, but noticeable. Why do you ask? In my opinion, bass is the answer. Deeper, clearer and tighter bass. They also sound a bit clearer in the highs. The hissing and popping for the dust albums seems to have been taken away a bit. I chose this model from other better and heavier disc stabilizers because it is lighter than many others. It might seem counter-intuitive, but for most people who enjoy it, it's most likely people who want the best sound but can very well afford this $1,000+ turntable. So too much weight on a budget turntable can affect RPM or cause excessive wear on the platter, belts, drive motor, etc. if the turntable isn't rated for the extra weight. I did notice a bit slower takeoff, but once I got up to speed there were no noticeable problems maintaining proper RPM. Great accessory, try it yourself.
