Best Fresh Tattoo Care

I used this to cover up a huge fresh tattoo on my chest and one on my arm. The outline was such a pain I couldn't take my eyes off work to let it heal but as I worked my shirt kept rubbing against the healing tattoo so when I went to color and shading I had my artist over it Instruct. Holy wow. If only I had known that sooner! It was much more bearable! The tattoo healed much faster and I had no reaction to the glue. Most medical tapes leave my skin red and scarred, this one showed no reaction, I swear every tattoo will be covered with it from now on. Its magical. Some people mention that the tattoo comes off with the film, the imprint of the tattoo stays on the film but it doesn't come off, your skin can absorb so much ink that some ooze out, you feel it. more because the film doesn't give him a place to go. Thin lines are usually replaced with retouching, which most tattoo artists do for free. It is quite normal for a fluid pocket to form between the skin and the liner. NOT pop. If you do this you can get a nasty infection. This liquid would turn into scabs on contact with air. Scabs on tattoos are not good. And it's even worse to get bacteria under the foil in a warm, humid environment. Follow your tattoo artist's instructions on when to remove it. What am I doing? After the tattoo, my artist disinfects my skin and applies a film. It stays on for 2 full days unless a large pocket of liquid forms (then I'll risk it after 1 day). To replace - hands soaked in antibacterial soap for 3 full minutes paying attention to nail bed. With warm water running over the foil. I use an antibacterial soap to wash the entire outside of the filmed tattoo and the surrounding skin. I work slowly, carefully trimming the edges of the film and gently peeling it off, constantly adding soap. Wash the tattoo for at least 3 minutes without wiping it. Most antibacterial soaps take 3 minutes to kill bacteria, so time is of the essence! After cleaning, the skin should be allowed to air dry. Don't touch anything or you'll have to start over! Attach a pre-cut sheet of foil to the tattoo and leave on for a further 2 days. After that, my tattoo healed enough that I could use a moisturizer or lotion without another sheet of cling wrap. I hope this guide helps and your tattoo turns out to be as stunning as you are. =
