Govee products are very good, I have 7 strips at home and they are great. I only have one issue with one of the lanes and that is the 65 foot (this one). They upgraded the technology of this band and it actually works worse for the music than my old bands. The old tapes just shut down when the music isn't being heard or paused. This bar slowly fades away, all colors aren't too bad, however the built-in microphone (on the remote control) is not designed for loud music. By volume I mean louder than normal. What happens is that it takes all the tones and basses and behaves like a single tone which for some reason makes it think there is no tone so it just appears and disappears in different colors without blinking. I now have 6 other strips of varying lengths and older and they work amazingly well. I hope govee updates the software on this band because I don't want it to come and go when I have it in music mode. I want it to sound as loud or quiet (within reason) as I want. There are no problems with the old models and the new shorter strips, just this one.
