This tutu was perfect for our needs. It was very fluffy and perfect for a photo shoot. I didn't want it to lay flat so I can wear it for everyday use. This would be great for ballet outfits as it sits high enough to allow for movement. The skirt has a small layer of fabric to keep the tulle from scratching. I've had the opportunity to hand wash and it hasn't deteriorated.
