A good "cheap " mount for YouTubers and Twitch streamers.

You want to record videos but the tripod doesn't work? Well I did, which is why I bought it first (well, second, but my first one went missing). I wanted to make a YouTube/Twitch video about my work while I was working on it. Maybe do live reviews and critiques of other people's work. But I needed something that would "hang" the camera over my workspace without getting in the way. This is vital. I think the first one I bought was stolen by house gnomes. (Kids? Citrus rats? Cockroaches? A stack of unopened mail?) It took me a YEAR to find it. I waited until my next, less congested paycheck and bought this mic and a better mic. It has the desk clamp I needed and it promised a non-slip grip (which the first didn't have). I was pleasantly surprised by what was found. The phone/webcam holder is strong with a good spring. There are soft pads on the inner surface of the "fingers" of the clamp. That gives a very good hold. The table clamp had the added benefit of being padded ALSO! You can use this on wooden tables and not worry about dents or scraps. It only has two downsides, mind you, this isn't a complaint - just a warning. First, when the table clamp is on the edge (you want the table edge to fill the "mouth" of the clamp). Unless you're rocking the whole thing, make sure it's secured well. that the flexible neck is a bit stiff. OK, very hard. Moving isn't impossible, it just took a little more effort than I expected. The first one I had (obviously a completely different brand) was much more flexible and easier to manoeuvre. However, this meant that if the old phone was nudged, the entire camera would move. Sometimes the weight of my phone would make the old one sag over time. The Goldenwide doesn't have that problem, it needs some shoulder lube to "shape" it at the right angle. I would recommend this to any artist, sculptor, craftsman or anyone looking for a cheap alternative to some of the other "weapons" and the like that are not on the market.
