This is a very small padlock - a bit bulky for a backpack but too small for serious use. The mouth opens only slightly, it is thin and there are only three numbers. So it's not a serious lock for expensive things. But I found it (barely) matched the special lockers at my gym - it's very cute and quirky, light and, frankly, cool and fun. So I'm very happy that I have it. If my gym locker door latches were even 1/32 inch thicker they wouldn't close around them and I would return them. Funny when it comes to cheap packages - why four locks? I think you can have different locks for different things. I ordered two sets and both times all the locks were either red or purple. I don't know if it's just an accident or if it's the ones that don't sell.
