It only took 10 seconds to replace the old filter with the new one. After using it, I noticed that my vacuum cleaner hasn't been working for a long time in terms of suction power. I noticed that what was collected was now swirling around in the canister (which I haven't seen in years). It also picked up a ton of dust in a few passes across our floor. I did notice the suction power dropping after a short while, but that was because the filter was catching A LOT of dust. Be sure to clean the grey/black foam filter after each use to ensure proper vacuum extraction.
