Maybe they just aren't designed for what I'm using them for. I use a carabiner to attach my dog's harness to the collar and then I attach his leash to the carabiner (see picture). A few days ago I noticed that one of the Carib Dogs was twisting past where it should be tightest so I pulled down the part you were twisting and it just slid down so I think it did been twisted and undressed too many times? Remember that they have been used once a day for the past month. Well the caribbean failed today and we spent an hour under the hot New Mexico sun trying to find my dog. I say the Caribbean failed because when he was found his collar and harness were still on, the new leash and carabiner were gone. My fault, I knew while walking that the carabiner was defective. I have to try to find something stronger and it will take more than a month. Of course, if you don't get them back, it gets bad.
