They stick, but require some effort.

The images were printed very clearly and beautifully colored. You can easily see the image from both sides. I put this on my girlfriend's car on VE day and we even took her through the car wash with them (after unexpected rain the night before), 4 victims in total. The bottom line is that the surface must be completely clean, and then apply adhesives with a little water. Without them, they fall off within an hour. But applying wet to a clean surface makes them very safe! I was not disappointed.
