This is a fantastic internal USB expansion card via PCI Express. It fits into both the largest slot and the smallest PCI slot. Technically it is more of an extension with 5 USB ports and 2 internal ports. The two inner ones can be reached, but are not as accessible as the 5 facing outwards. Really great build. Details, assembly and everything seems well put together. I'm not a PCB expert, but all the heatsinks and parts appear to be durable. I've connected 4 devices so far with no trouble getting the right power supply for each. Wi-Fi adapter, USB-C cable to power the drawing tablet, and two wireless device adapters. The promise that no additional nutrition is required is justified. This is the perfect solution for me as I use all my ports for mice, adapters, USB interfaces and other devices that I forgot. The USB ports on my motherboard (Z190) are aging (not providing adequate power) so using PCI Express to power more USB ports will help keep my computer organized and will likely increase the life of my computer. Simply delivers on the promise and is very easy to set up. (plug and play). Highly recommended.
