I bought two more sets of microfiber sheets from a local retail store. I didn't know microfiber was rated by GSM, grams per square meter. This measurement tells you how much "fiber" is in a given area, the higher the number, the denser the fiber. I must have bought 40 or 50 GSM from a local shop because they were very thin. I didn't know how strong they would be. After a few days of searching I came across this set. There were no reviews but it seemed to have everything I was looking for, color, density, fit (we have a 16 inch thick mattress) and price. I took a chance and bought this set. He's just fantastic. The sheet set is much heavier than the previous two sets. It has a neat little fold at the top of the sheet that looks great when folded over the duvet. Two things to know about this kit: 1) It is designed for mattresses. up to 21". We have Simmons Beautyrest Black that is at least 16" thick. Some of the other sets that claim to fit up to 16" struggle to cover this behemoth. This fitted sheet covers our mattress easily. There are very few creases in the sheet as there is a lot more material that goes in between It can be hidden under the mattress and springs. It doesn't stand out but I wanted to include it just in case. 2) Microfiber is very warm. Microfiber is an artificial material woven thinner than silk. If you put together enough fibers, around 110g /m² you have a lot of material these sheets are perfect in winter but I hope they won't be too warm in summer all in all this set is amazing don't regret buying this set at all.
