Works. Depending on the application, this may be a bit cumbersome for some. Mine is used on a ClubCar 48v and one of the problems was finding a place to mount it. The installation is quite simple and works. Sizes are listed in the description, so please consider before purchasing. My only real option was to install it in the car's battery box. Solder the wires and used heat shrink connectors to prevent moisture from corroding the wires. It comes with everything you need to get the tension you want. I have 48V to 12V to power the speaker. I recommend this article. Please make sure it fits where you want to install it before purchasing.
