This monitor is significantly cheaper than other monitors of the same size. It works, but it's not what you would call a "beautiful display" and suffers from a number of issues.1. Lighting is inconsistent - the bottom and top edges of the screen are brighter than the center.2. Flickering when not looking straight ahead or on completely white screens.3. Poor electrical shielding. It's handy for text editing, but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone working with graphics. As far as movies and games go, I'm fine with that - it's not surprising, but I don't mind. Dynamic content seems to hide many display issues (flickering, etc.).
