My wife's 2015 Chevy Tahoe LTZ needed brakes and after hours of research and jumping from auto parts website to auto parts website. I figured the positive reviews or this kit would be enough to pull the trigger. This was my first purchase of a set of brake pads and a rotor from PowerStop and it was a good choice right from the start. I received my order on time but the box the kit came in was crumpled. So I go through all the merchandise to make sure nothing is missing from the set. I noticed that the rear brake pads that were sent as a set were used and returned. I called customer service, told them what I got, they asked me a few questions and sent them a photo of the pads. After that they sent a new set of pads the next day. This is really great customer service! Next, let's talk about installation. I'm pretty mechanically inclined, but make sure you allow about 4 hours to swap out all four rotors and pads. Also, I used a hand tool, not a pneumatic one. But overall it was pretty easy. My advice: just follow the instructions and if you've never dealt with brakes before, pay attention to how they come apart and take your time. The last step of the installation process, which is the instructions for installing the pads, must be followed exactly, they are very important and must be followed exactly. We installed this kit within a month and it was great, no noise, no dust, no interruptions! I would definitely buy again.
