Review on South Bay Alternative Comforter Purple Bedding by William Stevenson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Understand what you are buying. It's really not difficult.

It's as thick as it looks considering the blanket is draped over something and wrapped around the head in the photo. It's really not that difficult to understand. Also, it's "all year round" so it will be thin enough for summer. So obviously not something thick and plush and super fluffy. Orange is 2-3 shades lighter than in the picture. More like tangerine, but it suits me perfectly. Think of the edible part of the orange rather than the peel. The blanket I originally wanted was sold out, and NOLA's winter was coming hard and fast, so I was willing to compromise a bit on the color, especially as oranges aren't as common as some of the more boring colors; The price is of course fantastic. .This is the perfect comforter for the American Southern or Western climate. If you live in real winter states, it won't work. Having grown up in Massachusetts, I highly recommend investing in a thin real duvet yourself rather than some polyfill. Soundproofing is simply incomparable.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • For retirees
