The child I look after loves to paint. She also loves unicorns. I thought it would be a great time killer. The package arrived and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. There were a few uncut pieces of plastic that left it a little rough around the edges, but unless you're really picky it's easy to miss all the imperfections. We painted a few together and I liked it so much that I bought a paint kit. I was worried that the new set would be in pretty bad shape, but it was just as good as the first set. The paint came off the table easily, but the glitter glue was a little stubborn; It should also be noted that there isn't much glitter glue, so expect it to run out quickly. Tl; dr is a great time killer and a wonderful gift. would recommend.
