I used these discs to polish connectors on aluminum heads. While the first few want to be good (they don't last long at all), in this particular case I didn't push the shank all the way into the chuck, but at least enough to get a little grip on the bit's shank. Right on the first spin it bent due to vibration/shaft misalignment. I didn't touch anything, just turned it, and the turning tool almost fell out of my hand. I have since pushed its shank all the way in and lowered it into a rotary tool and continued use in this fashion seemed to work. Note that the shank of these bits is NOT hardened and at the price you're paying for them, that's probably not to be expected. In addition, they last no longer than 1 minute. On one head I managed to go through about 8 of these polishing nozzles. It's a good thing they give you a whole bunch of them because you'll definitely devour them!
