Amazing Results for CPU Uninstall/Reclose app

I took a chance to buy this product when there were no user reviews (maybe this is still the first real review) and I needed instant gratification for my first CPU (i7-7700K). ). Based on my overclocking research, I wanted to buy the Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut or Coollaboratory Liquid Pro liquid metal products, but both had long lead times and Silver King took 1 to 2 days to ship. I'll admit I was a little skeptical about what I got, but the product came in a hard pack that contained 2 microfiber swabs, a brush, an alcohol swab and a syringe nozzle for easy application of a small amount of drops recommended for liquid metal thermal pastes . . (even less than thermal paste). After removing the heatspreader (IHS) from the CPU using the Rockit 88 delid/relid tool (another great product), I used Silver King for the die-IHS interface. It's easy to squeeze out too much, but you can just suck the excess back into the syringe. The material applied fairly easily: I used the flat tipped end of the swab and found that when I pressed lightly to 'color' the stamp it stuck and spread well (same for IHS). After re-closing it, I have decided to use Gelid GC Extreme thermal compound when reinstalling the CPU cooler (Noctua U14S) as liquid metals are of concern (electrical and corrosive) to your motherboard. were still pretty amazing. Initial results showed the processor was idle within 20 seconds compared to an average of 30 seconds and under load at 4.8 GHz the chip never got hotter than 60 seconds compared to 79-80 seconds before (with some instability) . I've always tried to overclock to 5.0GHz and thought I'd lost the silicon lottery - lo and behold, I go into the bios and bump the voltage up a bit, set the cpu multiplier to 50, reboot and bang the system runs like a champ and the stress is gone - Intel Burn and Real Bench tests at 5.0GHz without going over 65C. Now let's see how far I can drop core voltage to get even cooler temperatures (fans used to roar at full load - now it's quiet!tl;dnr: Recommended for an idle CPU.
