Review on Kingsford Aluminum Locking Recyclable Disposable by Lisa Holland

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything we hoped Mylar would do but doesn't: Update!

These bags are great for tossing packaged food over a campfire, oven, grill or grill. Meat or TVP, corn, onions and a drizzle of oil and garlic and/or BBQ sauce can make a delicious and filling meal. But another, maybe more interesting fact is that they completely block calls and text messages from mobile phones! These foil pouches do what we want Mylar pouches to do: fully protect your electrical equipment from EMP, not to mention spies and rogues. A smart person would put their device (cell phone, voltmeter, calculator, iPad, etc.) in a plastic bag and then put it in a Kingsford bag. Fold the foil pouch in 2-3 folds and voila! The foil pouches are a little less thick than you'd like if you're preparing for a THEOTVAUK or Carrington disaster. At the end of the packaging here, would you consider a plastic freezer bag or a Mylar bag to hold your Kingsford foil bag? Store this layered bag in an EMP-resistant metal trash can and who knows. You can jam the "Super EMP" device and you'll be left with a spicy foil pouch for a BBQ! — I'll try to update this review with some bright and sharp observations after someone threw a big one. 30 Sep 21: Addendum: I checked the EMP protection again and it didn't work. Hmm, hold on.
